In this series of drawings titled “parallel world”, young Chinese artist Na from Bejing, plays with time, seen as a continuously moving flat escalator, and different dimensions, which are independent from each other while represented at the same time. Na’s drawings are all made using a mix of pencils and few coloured ones.

Dane Patterson received an MFA from School of Visual Arts in 2005. Prior to that he studied at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. His inspiration comes from objects, such as old family photos and record sleeves. The time it takes to achieve photo realism heightens Patterson’s sense of intimacy with each object, and adds an aspect of severity to otherwise playful compositions

Takanori was born in Yokohama, Japan. He studied Japanese traditional textiles and dyed clothing in Tokyo Zokei University. He became later a freelancer illustrator for Maze magazine. Now days he’s famous for creating astonishing mini buildings using mixed media such as Suiseki stones and paper taking inspirations by his fervid imaginations and from bonsai tree art. He is helped in the construction of these amazing small architectures by civil engineering Murakami which shares with him a passion for Art.

Selena is an american artist born in Maine. She moved to New York where she’s currently working as an artist. She often works with archival documents (illustrated histories, genealogies), since the history that we know, from herodotus onwards, is part real and part invented, she focus on historical documents for the stories that exist inside them: narratives of partially told or lost social histories.

Ray was born in Tokyo in 1948. After his studies he began his career as an abstract painter.  Now days he is well known for his illustrations, in which we can still find elements of his earlier practice. Landscapes are the main subjects for Ray’s latest works, which are made with different techniques involving engraved wood panels.

After his graduation from Leeds Metropolitan University, Daniel has continued with illustration and has arrived to offer us a satirical series of ‘postcards’ inspired by the famous comic books called ‘Tijuana bibles’ known also as jo-jo books, Tillie and mac books or as bluesies. These were porno graphic comic books created and printed in America from early 20’s till the 60’s.
